The REB17/18 servo motor brake is designed for servo motors. When servo motors are used, the rotation gap and response time are required to be minimum in braking. In addition, the friction plates shall be resistant to high temperature in case of rapid rotation. To meet these strict requirements, Reach specifically designed the REB18 servo motor brakes for servo motors, introducing a brand new concept in braking area. Technically, the REB18 servo motor brakes can be used to replace the magneto ones at lower cost. In detail, the servomotor brakes for micro servo motors are characterized by small rotation gap, rapid response and high temperature resistance.
